I've always been a sporty person but lost my way when studying at uni. I was able to find myself again when I moved to Cairns and fell in love with community-based gyms where you can make awesome friends. I started with martial arts where I competed in jiu-jitsu tournaments and had two muay Thai fights. When that style of training no longer suited my lifestyle, I took a turn for Crossfit. Crossfit helped me to discover my love for high-performance sports including Crossfit, Olympic lifting, and powerlifting.
In July 2021 I started seeing a sports dietician who completely changed my world where my nutrition stopped focusing on aesthetics but rather, on high performance. Since making this change, I have competed in many events and come in leaps and bounds from the young woman who previously only used to train cardio style and couldn't lift a barbell.
Coaching is one of my favorite things to do as you get to see people reach their potential, both physically and mentally. I want to help people improve their body awareness, and strength and to help them feel like the best versions of themselves.
